Katie Mclemore, MSW, SWIA

I am a wife. I am a mom. I am a normal everyday person striving to do and be better each day. I am a woman of Dutch and Zimbabwean descent who is madly in love with Jesus. I am originally from Aurora, Colorado and I have lived in Washington since 2010.

I went to Central Washington University and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Public Health specializing in Community Health. This is where I met my husband of 12 years, Antonio. I went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on mental health and human development. I graduated from University of Washington, Tacoma in 2014 and went on to have 2 wonderful children, Israel (9) and Legacy (6).

I have worked in a variety of settings and I work hard to expand and expound on the clinical skills necessary to help you move from where you are, to where you want to be. My passion is to support kids and help our youth to thrive. I work with all age groups and I love bringing out the best in everyone. 

I love seeing people tap into their full potential and become all that they have been created to be. I believe that God has uniquely designed each of us, and yet, we are all made in the likeness and image of God. It is this fundamental truth that I function from.

On a lighter note, I love basketball, (Denver Nuggets to be specific), reality TV (yes, I watch the Kardashian’s), hikes, and comedy movies.
