About Me
Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern and am currently pursuing a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Focus on Marriage and Family Therapy at Colorado Christian University. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University (2020), and I bring a holistic, evidence-based approach to my therapeutic practice.
My work is rooted in Family Systems Theory and complemented by techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I believe that change occurs through vulnerability and connection in the context of safe, loving relationships.
Although I am open to working with anyone, my faith enriches my counseling, and I strive to provide an integrative approach to clients seeking a place to process their life experiences through the love of Jesus.
I have spent most of my life navigating military transition as a former military brat and Army spouse. I possess a unique understanding of the challenges faced by military personnel and their families, including those of first responders. I am incredibly passionate about supporting these communities, particularly in processing experiences such as deployment, separation, trauma, and significant life transitions. Additionally, I am devoted to providing a space for individuals to address miscarriage and pregnancy or infant loss, infertility, first-responder or combat-related trauma, as well as helping adults navigate complex childhood wounds.
Outside the therapy room, I love spending time with my husband, friends, and family, training my rescue pup (Stella), and engaging in a variety of activities from outdoor adventures to baking and cooking. When I am not working with clients, you’ll probably find me serving in our local church, trying out a new gluten-free recipe, or hiking to an alpine lake.
I’m looking forward to witnessing the healing that God has for you!
